Student registration is now live for the annual “Launch a Career in Canada” event, taking place March 19, 2019. This is always a popular event, designed to support international students seeking post-graduation work in Canada. By participating in this event, students will learn more about the Canadian job market while gaining valuable career building tips that include leveraging their international background.
The event features a panel of UBC alumni, who were international students and are now working in Canada; we are expecting more than 50 international UBC alumni to be on hand to speak with current students during the networking portion of the event.
Event features include:
· Panel Conversation with Alumni Professionals.
· Stories of former UBC international students now working in Canada.
· Roundtable Speed Networking Sessions. Opportunity to ask international alumni about their experiences & advice.
· Networking Reception to engage more directly with alumni and other students.
