As a Natural Resource Technician, you will be challenged with the strength and endurance required to work in the field, under harsh environmental conditions, to collect field data required which varies dependant on project/industry objectives. You will also be tasked with the responsibility of performing office duties in the form of data compilation, interpretation and report writing. In this role, you will be given the guidance and tools to learn new skills and concepts that will aid you in furthering your career objectives. You are the right fit for this position if you are open to learning multi-disciplinary skills in the natural resource industry.
Mandatory Qualifications:
• You exhibit superior leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• You have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to improve
• You have sound knowledge of the natural resource industry and development
• You are physically fit and enjoys the challenge of working outdoors on remote working shifts
• You have education and or experience in the field of natural resources
Asset Qualifications:
• You have a degree or diploma in the field of natural resources
• You are registered or enrolled as a member in a professional association within the natural resource industry
• You have a valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
• You have previous supervisory experience in any field
• You have proficient computer skills
