About Taking Root

Taking Root is a reforestation social enterprise on a mission to use trees to tackle climate change and poverty. Primarily funded through the sale of carbon offsets, we ensure forests provide valuable sources of income for communities through financial incentives, education, and the creation of local forest enterprises from the goods and services produced by their trees. A large part of our work is to quantify the amount of carbon sequestered in the trees we grow and this is why we need your help!
