At-Large Scholarship – Fall 2019 Semester
The Bartlett Tree Foundation is continuing to offer the at-large scholarships for the upcoming Fall semester. The Foundation will be offering two at-large scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 each. Like our current scholarships, these special scholarships will be available to students in arboriculture/urban forestry who have a genuine interest in a career in arboriculture. The scholarships will be available to the Bartlett Tree Foundation supported schools as well as other, two and four year, colleges and universities that have programs in horticulture, arboriculture and/or urban forestry. Having an at-large scholarship program allows the Foundation to assist new programs outside of our currently supported schools, while also providing the opportunity for existing Foundation schools to assist additional deserving students in their academic pursuits.
Application for the at-large scholarship is simple; the student should submit a narrative,no longer than one page, outlining his/her accomplishments, academic record and aspirations. The Foundation committee will review the student’s narrative and notify you and the student once the committee has made the selections.
