The Centre for Student Involvement & Careers is here to support students, from their first day on campus until after they graduate. Below you will find helpful FAQs related to career advising and workshops, as well as online resources and other career events sponsored by the CSIC. Attached, please find descriptions for our career workshop suite and if interested, a briefing document identifying the career team members and our strategic priorities. We do this work by way of an integrated and collaborative approach within the CSI&C and SD&S, across campus, and embedded in faculties.
SERVICE + SUPPORT
Students can engage their career curiosities and build a job search toolkit through workshops, programs and events where they will meet people, make disciplinary meaning, and find their competitive edge. Students are supported in their career and professional development through general service delivery including one-to-one and group advising, career workshops and through customized career education via career learning in course work, faculty-specific initiatives, workplace learning experiences, networking and mentorship activities, and online resources.
