Have you always wanted to share your research on forests with a wide audience, but haven’t gotten the right opportunity to spread the word?
Well, you are in luck! In cooperation with the UBC Global Lounge, IFSA presents the campus-wide writing challenge “Future of our Forests”. This is your chance to draft a summary of your research that is written in a non-academic style to inform the general public (infographics and any other tools to engage the lay reader are welcome!)
This writing challenge is an open call for all students that have previous or current research to share about forests and sustainability! Each entry must be approximately 700-1000 words long. The top THREE submissions will each receive a $150 GIFT CARD to the UBC BOOKSTORE, will be published in the IFSA Tree News and will also be invited to attend a public appreciation event co-hosted by IFSA UBC and the GLOBAL LOUNGE!
