An information session will be held on Friday, January 18 at 12:30pm in MCML 258 for  LFS 302D – Asian Elephant Compassionate Conservation in Thailand, which will run in Summer 2019. Check out the 2019 Summer Schedule here (https://courses.students.ubc.ca/cs/courseschedule) (make sure to select “2019 Summer” from the pull down menu!).
This course explores how the science of animal well-being can be used in conservation to improve outcomes for animals, people, and the environment. There are two sessions available: June 23 – July 19, 2019 and July 28– August 23, 2019. Students should have course background in Animal Biology, Animal Behaviour, Conservation and/or Animal Welfare.
