Michael Green is an award-winning architect known for his advocacy in promoting the use of wood and innovation in the built environment. He lectures internationally including his 2013 TED talk ‘Why We Should Build Wooden Skyscrapers’.

 

His team has completed some of the largest timber buildings in the world and has been honoured with North America’s most prestigious awards, including 2 RAIC Innovation Awards and 3 Governor General’s Medals.

 

Michael is the co-author of ‘The Case for Tall Wood Buildings,’ and ‘Tall Wood Buildings: Design, Construction and Performance.
