Patrick Duffy International Work Experience Grant //

The Patrick Duffy International Work Experience Grant has been established by Dr. Patrick Duffy, BSF 1955.  Dr. Duffy has travelled throughout the globe, working in forestry, resources management and consulting on environmental impact issues.  He has been a dedicated mentor to forestry students for over two decades and would like to share his passion for overseas work experiences with UBC forestry co-op students by enabling participation.

The grant has been established to assist undergraduate forestry co-op students seeking international work terms with NGOs, community organizations, the United Nations or other inter-governmental organizations, where funding for the position is limited or unavailable (volunteer basis).

All forestry co-op students with suitable work experience opportunities are eligible to apply.  Up to three grants will be given out annually.  For more information, please visit Nazlyn in the Co-op office.
