Call for focus group participants for What I Learned in Class Today

CTLT’s Indigenous Initiatives team is seeking focus group participants for the What I Learned in Class Today project. They are looking for students, alumni, faculty, teaching assistants and staff who have engaged in or supported Indigenous-related discussions in classrooms and environments at UBC and who would like to share their experiences or reflections.

Schedule:

  • Staff Focus Group: Feb 19, 9-10:30am
    For staff currently employed at UBC Vancouver teaching/supporting courses and students where Indigenous content is part of the curriculum
  • Faculty Focus Group: Feb 19, 3:30-5:00pm
    For faculty currently employed at UBC Vancouver teaching/supporting courses and students where Indigenous content is part of the curriculum
  • Undergraduate Focus Group: Feb 28, 12-1:30pm
    For undergraduate students enrolled at UBC Vancouver taking courses with Indigenous content
  • Teaching Assistant/Graduate Focus Group: Mar 5, 5-6:30pm
    For teaching assistants and graduate students currently or recently appointed Teaching Assistants at UBC Vancouver, including currently enrolled graduate students at UBC Vancouver
  • Alumni Focus Group: Mar 14, 6-7:30pm
    For UBC alumni who have previously taken courses with Indigenous content
