This signature UBC event is back and celebrating its 30th anniversary! With 300 teams and over 3000 competitors,Day of the LongBoat is a UBC tradition.
Multiple team formats give you the freedom to build your team however you wish, and compete at different levels of competition from just-for-fun to competitive races. Race with your classmates and friends from around campus whether you met in residence, your faculty, greek chapter or other community. There are also heats specific for staff & faculty, UBC alumni, or community members.
Not interested in boat racing? Come down for the beach festival and to cheer on your friends. There is something for everyone over the weekend!
