Do you often have questions or concerns about climate change and the role of forests but have no idea where to direct them?

Come join us this Halloween to have all of these questions addressed at IFSA’s 3rd round of “Prepping for COP” climate talks. This exciting event will include presentations and a Q&A session with experts in light of the upcoming United Nations Climate Change Conference in Bonn, Germany (COP23)!

Snacks will be provided!!!

Panelists include:

Cecil Konijnendijk, Professor of Urban Forestry at UBC Faculty of Forestry. “Cecil will focus on the urban perspective – and the necessity to connect climate change, urban forests, and individuals.”

Riehl, Brianne. Technical & Policy Analyst at Pembina Institute | UBC Forestry graduate. “Brianne will share the vision of the Pembina Institute for a low-carbon environment with respect to the forest.”

Yemi Adeyeye, PhD student | UBC Faculty of Forestry, UBC Public Scholar Award recipient. “Yemi has previously represented IFSA at high-level events and he will discuss the importance of forestry students to push their agenda during events such as the UN Climate Change Conference (COP).”
